Happy Friday!!! This is week 19 of our Fifty-Two on Friday project and our theme is “Water.”
Our house is surrounded by flowers. All sorts of perennials… some I don’t even know their names. There are hollyhocks, lilies, peonies, and the list goes on. When we bought our home, we heard that there were tulips too. I had never seen them bloom. Ever. I had seen their buds forming and they would be just about ready to show their beautiful colours… and then a sweet little deer would come along and eat them 🙂
This year is the very first year that I have seen them bloom and they are beautiful. They are crimson red with a bit of yellow and black. They almost look like poppies. And, they looked even more lovely with glistening drops of water resting on their petals. Seeing these bright colours makes me so happy that spring is here!
Travel with me to visit the talented Kasey Ross, San Jose, CA Photographer to see her interpretation of this week’s theme.
