It honours the Nk’Mip people and their culture, stories, and heritage. It’s set in a 1600 acre desert conservation area which is absolutely stunning and it’s such a contrast to many parts of Canada. I love the peaceful tones of sage and pine dotting the landscape.
I’ve always felt a bit nomadic with a serious case of wanderlust. I can’t wait to see what is around the next bend, what I’ll find down a trail, or what I’ll discover as the light changes and graces the landscape. This piece of paradise is Two Jack Lake in Banff National Park and it’s one of my favourite places to set up camp. You can hike, explore, take in the views, or go for a paddle. It is peaceful and just what you need when you are craving some time in the great outdoors.
