This year was filled with big and exciting changes for my family and my business. We moved to a new town located about 650 km from the place were we had made our “home.” A place where we had created connections and woven ourselves into a community filled with amazing friends and family. It was also a place where I captured countless memories for families in the area. Freshly born babies, little ones celebrating milestones during their first year, first birthdays, more birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and everything in between. I was there to stop time for these families and there to document their family at that exact moment in time. This is something that I feel very honoured to do and so thankful that it is my job.
With our move to southern Alberta, it doesn’t always pan out for me to photograph the families that I have seen every year for the past four and a half years… but I love it when it does. When J contacted me about possibly coming to Cochrane for her family session this year, I was so excited and happy that we were going to get a chance to capture her beautiful family and connect again.
Thank you to J for making the trip to Cochrane and for inviting me to capture your family memories again! It is amazing how much these boys have grown since their session last year!
