Wanderlust | Cochrane Alberta Photographer

At 135 years old, this man-made lake has a lengthy history.  Wascana Lake was originally created as a water source for cattle, horses, and other domestic stock animals.  Its use and size have evolved and changed over time.  If you visit it today, you’ll find a beautiful and peaceful spot to enjoy in all seasons.

I spent my Thanksgiving morning exploring Wascana Lake and this scene was one of the first things to catch my eye.
