My summer involved a whirlwind road trip to beautiful Vancouver, BC to catch-up with my talented friend, Amy Ames, before she headed off on her next wildlife photography adventure. Over eight years ago, our paths aligned and I have been so thankful to have her in my life ever since. She has always been a source of inspiration, support, and encouragement. A very special thing in a creative field like photography.
We did some exploring and sightseeing while we were in Vancouver, including a whale watching tour. This image was captured on the same day as a magical jellyfish. A majestic humpback whale waving at us in the Strait of Georgia.
