A Warm Spring Night | Cochrane Alberta Photographer

I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic lately.  After a very quick trip to northern Alberta and seeing some of “my” families who I haven’t photographed since the year that I relocated to Cochrane, the feels have really got to me!

I first met this awesome Cape Breton family almost seven years ago.  Seven!  Being originally from the east coast, I have a huge spot in my heart for fellow east coasters and this family is made a huge impression on me from the first time that we met.  I remember, before we had our first session, that what they wanted most from those photos was for Lucas to know how much he was loved.  And, you know what?  They made my job so easy.  Their love for him was evident in every moment.

While I lived in northern Alberta, we met again many times to capture more of Lucas’s milestones.  Christmas, birthdays, and more.

The last time that I met with the Campbell’s, we focused on capturing some memories through a maternity session.  Fast forward almost four years from that date and now here we are meeting again on a beautiful, warm spring night.

Lucas has the sweetest and funniest little sister named Lily.  Both Lucas and Lily are so full of personality.  They had me cracking up at the session AND while I was editing their photos.  I love it!

You can see more from this session in this sneak peek.
