I really, really, really wanted to title this blog post “how did this happen???!” I photographed Cassidy’s family just a few short years ago… and here we are… prom and graduation! It never ceases to amaze me just how quickly time flies by. I’m so thankful to be able to take moments like this and capture them… because, as one of my favourite photographers once said, “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” Those are the wise words of Dorthea Lange and at moments like this, it really puts into perspective how much time should be treasured.
This is just a little snippet from our session before the Hillside 2018 prom celebrations. Cassidy is an amazing person, inside and out… a real deal natural beauty. I can’t wait to see where life takes you, Cassidy!
