Fifty-Two on Friday | Valleyview Alberta Photographer

It’s Friday!  This week’s theme is colour and if you are a parent, you probably have a lot of colour in your home.  Toys, books, art supplies…  most things related to children are so full of colour.

This week, I wanted to photograph something that had many colours and I was drawn to these well-loved crayons.  The crayons make scribbles, lines, and all sorts of artwork.  These crayon creations are given as gifts, posted on the fridge, and sometimes I find them in the most unexpected places (especially when paper wasn’t the medium of choice).

There is something about colour, especially when there is lots of it, that gives you happiness.  Even when the colour is from something as simple as crayons.

Next, travel with me to visit the amazing and talented Chicago Photographer, Angie Papalas and find out her interpretation of this week’s theme.
