It’s week 20 of our Fifty-Two on Friday project. This week our theme is landscapes and it was landscapes that originally sparked my love of photography. I have always had a huge affection for nature. Being outside, hiking, and most of all, capturing the beautiful outdoors with my camera.
My favourite place to be and to photograph is the Rocky Mountains in Canada. I can’t described how much I love being surrounded by towering mountains and trees. My first post as a Forest Ranger was in the foothills of the Rockies. I loved living in a place where I could enjoy those beautiful views every single day.
I no longer live in the foothills, but I love to travel to the Rockies whenever I can. And, I just got back from my first camping trip of the year… and you guessed it, I went to my favourite place 🙂
Next, travel with me to visit the amazing Meghan Boyer, Maryland Lifestyle Photographer and see her interpretation of this week’s theme.
