Fifty-Two On Friday | Valleyview Alberta Photographer

Play.  One of the reasons why I love photographing children.  Imagination and playfulness fill their everyday lives.  This is something I love to capture.  For my own family and for others.  Children grow and change so fast and before you know it, the stage of imaginative play and the world of make-believe is left behind.  They say farewell to the dolls, trucks, princess dresses, and superhero capes.  I want to capture those memories so families – mine included – can treasure them and look back on them – after those days of that stage of playfulness have passed by.

Meet T.  He is 2.5 and he loves anything on wheels.  I had a blast running around with him and capturing him and his favourite things.  I’ll be sharing more from this session next week, but for now, here’s a sneak peek of T at play:

One more thing — a quote I wanted to share:  “We do not stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing.” ~ Author Unknown

A good reason on this beautiful day, to get out there and have some fun…  and just play.  You won’t regret it 🙂

Travel with me to visit the inspiring Amanda Jouppi, Chippewa Falls Photographer, and see the playfulness she captured this week.
