Wanderlust | Cochrane Alberta Photographer

This image was taken at one of my favourite stops in Osoyoos – the Nk’Mip (pronounced in-ka-meep) Desert Cultural Centre. It honours the Nk’Mip people and their culture, stories, and heritage. It’s set in a 1600 acre desert conservation area which is absolutely stunning and it’s such a contrast to many parts of Canada. I love the peaceful tones of sage and pine dotting the landscape. You’ll find areas to explore both inside and outside. Definitely a must-see place while visiting Osoyoos.
